About Our Pastry Chefs

Meet Patrice and Brett, our owners who understand that since the beginning of time, breaking breads been a foundation of family, friends, and community. True artisans, Patrice and Brett have a passion for delicious, wholesome food and those for whom they create it. Every step, every action, every ingredient has a purpose … the purpose of offering you THE best food you’ve every had. Just they way they learned in the finest culinary institutes from Paris to New York, and now they bring those same high standards to you.

Brett is a North Carolina native who discovered the love of baking in his grandmother's kitchen as a boy. It never left him. After high school, Brett then went on to graduate from the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, NY. Brett has spent years perfecting his craft with his artisanal baking.


Patrice was born in Provence in the South of France and grew up appreciating french open markets. As a boy, he traveled the world with his family. His father served as an official courier for the French military. Patrice has experienced the fascinating foods and traditions of many cultures. Influences from around the world and the desire bring the best flavors to the people of Georgia is evident in each creation. Patrice went on to receive his training through an apprenticeship under a Parisian Master Chef.

It's an honor to share our work with you and hope every fresh bite will bring you joy.

Patrice is a native of Provence in the South of France and received his training through an apprenticeship under a Parisian Master Chef. 

Once you take your first bite, you'll know. 

From meeting the local miller to chose the best grains for their flours, to perfecting new recipes while protecting the traditional favorites of their customers. Together, Brett and Patrice create hand-crafted baked goods you can purchase at one of the local farmer's markets or order online.


Be sure to order our English muffins in advance because there's always a line when we open in the morning!
